Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, which can be mild or severe. It can seriously impact a person’s mental and general wellbeing if it affects their ability to partake in activities within their usual routine, both personally and professionally.

Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life. 

Feeling anxious is normal at times and is a normal response while coping with stressful events or changes. Especially if they could have a significant impact on your life, such as making a major decision or sitting an exam, dealing with issues at work, having relationship problems or a family conflict. 

However, when anxiety becomes more severe, it can affect people in different ways at any time, causing constant fear and worry, often for intangible reasons, and can often make it difficult to continue with normal life.

There is no specific model of anxiety, but here are some common physical factors. Anxiety can reveal itself in the body physically as rapid or intense breathing, sweating, feeling tired, or a faster heart rate. It might just feel like butterflies in the stomach, or it can result in nightmares and panic attacks. By reducing your anxiety, you will be able to:
